IN THIS RECIPE
WHAT YOU NEED:
Sauce Base:
- 8 oz Tomato Sauce
- 8 oz Water
- 1 pkg Sun-Bird Mongolian Beef Seasoning
- 2 tsp Honey
- 1 tbs Soy Sauce
- 1/2 Onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp Blended Oil
Meatball Mix:
- 1 lb Ground Pork
- 2 tsp Soy Sauce
- 2 tsp Sesame Seeds
- 1/4 tsp Sesame Oil
- 1/4 tsp Bread Crumbs
- 1/2 tsp Red Chili Flakes
- 1 tsp Fresh Ginger Minced
- 1 tsp Garlic Minced
PREPARATIONS:
- In a medium sized sauce pan caramelize your onions in your oil over a low flame. In a seperate measuring cup combine all other ingredients for your sauce and mix well. Once onions are ready, cover with your liquid mixture and bring up to a simmer, then cut the heat to low.
- In a large mixing bowl combine all the ingredients for the meatball and form 8 even sized balls. Submerge in your sauce pan and cover with foil. Over a medium to low flame simmer your pork balls for at least 20 minutes or until fully cooked. The longer they simmer in the sauce the more flavor the pork will pull from the broth.
- Enjoy!
