Sun-Bird Spicy Turkey Burgers

IN THIS RECIPE
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 1 lb 80/20 ground turkey
- 2 tsp honey or hoisin sauce
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1 pkg Sun-Bird Mongolian Beef Seasoning Mix
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 4 whole-wheat hamburger buns
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 tomato slices
PREPARATIONS:
- Preheat oven 350°F.
- In a medium sized bowl combine all ingredients and chill for 15 minutes.
- Form turkey into four patties.
- Using an oven safe non-stick pan, sear patties on one side over high heat. Flip patties and then place pan in the oven.
- Bake for about 12 minutes or until the center of the burger reads 165°F with a digital thermometer.
- Serve on top of a whole wheat burger bun with lettuce and tomato.
