IN THIS RECIPE
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tbs vegetable oil
- 4 oz thin spaghetti, broken into 2-inch pieces
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 to 2 cups coarsely chopped fresh vegetables
- 1 pkg Sun-Bird Stir-Fry Seasoning
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup water
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
PREPARATIONS:
- Cook ground beef and onions in large skillet over medium-high heat until beef is browned stirring to crumble; drain and set aside.
- Pour oil into skillet. Add spaghetti to oil and cook over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until spaghetti is golden. Stir in cooked beef-onion mixture and remaining ingredients. Cover and cook over low heat 25 minutes or until pasta is tender.
Note: Some suggestions of coarse chopped vegetables: carrots, broccoli, celery, zucchini, canned water chestnuts, bamboo shoots or whole snow peas. Or for a simpler option, substitute 1 to 2 cups frozen stir-fry vegetable mix for fresh vegetables.
