IN THIS RECIPE
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 1 lb brussels cleaned and halved
- 1 Sunbird Sweet and Sour Sauce
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup apple juice
- 1 tbs honey
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Combine all ingredients except for Brussels in one measuring cup and mix thoroughly.
- Add to a sauce pan until it thickens, turn off heat and keep warm.
- Deep fry the Brussel sprouts at 325o until dark brown.
- Toss the brussel sprouts in the sweet and sour sauce and serve!
