Sun-Bird Orange Chicken

IN THIS RECIPE
WHAT YOU NEED:
For the sauce:
- 1 1/2 cup Water
- 2 1/2 tsp Soy Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Chili Flakes
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1 tbs Orange zest
- 1 tbs Orange juice
- 2 tbs +1/2 tsp Cornstarch
- 1 pkg Sun-Bird sweet and sour
For the chicken:
- 1 pound Chicken tenders, cut into large chunks
- 1 cup Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
PREPARATIONS:
- In a medium sauce pan combine all the ingredients for the Sunbird Sweet and Sour sauce and bring to a simmer. It should thicken and have a nice glaze. Your sauce is complete.
- Bring a frying pan with 1/4 cup of oil up to 4000
- In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and pepper. After well mixed, bread your chicken tenders and fry in your prepared frying pan.
- Once golden brown on both sides, let the chicken rest on a towel to absorb any excess oil. After about 3-5 minutes of letting the chicken rest, you may sauce your tenders.
