Sweet & Sour Vegetable Dumpling Soup

IN THIS RECIPE
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 6 cups Low-sodium vegetable broth
- 1 lb Frozen vegetable dumplings
- 8 oz Shiitake mushrooms, stemmed and sliced
- 2 Small carrots, cut into 1/8-inch matchsticks
- 1 pkg Sun-Bird® Sweet & Sour Seasoning Mix
- 2 cups Packed baby spinach
- 2 Green onions, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup Fresh cilantro, roughly chopped
- 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
PREPARATIONS:
- Bring the broth to a boil in a large pot over medium-high heat, about 5 minutes. Add the dumplings, mushrooms, carrots and Sun-Bird® Sweet & Sour Seasoning Mix, and cook, stirring frequently, until dumplings are fully cooked and vegetables are tender, about 4-5 minutes. Stir in the spinach until wilted, about 1 minutes.
- Divide soup between bowls. Top with the green onions, cilantro and sesame seeds. Serve and enjoy.
Tip: Substitute your favorite meat dumpling for vegetable dumplings!
