Honey Garlic Shrimp and Basil Stir Fry

IN THIS RECIPE
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 2 Shallots, thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 lb Jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pkg Sun-Bird® Honey Garlic Shrimp Seasoning Mix
- 3 tbsp Low-sodium soy sauce
- 3 tbsp Honey or brown sugar
- 2 tsp Fish sauce, optional
- 2 cups Basil leaves, plus more for garnish
- 4 cups Cooked long-grain white rice, kept hot
- 1 Lime, cut into wedges, for serving
PREPARATIONS:
- Heat oil in a large straight-sided skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the shallots and cook, stirring frequently, until tender, about 1 minute.
- Stir in the shrimp, Sun-Bird® Honey Garlic Shrimp Seasoning Mix, soy sauce, honey and fish sauce, and cook until fully cooked, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove skillet from heat. Stir in the basil until just wilted. Top with the additional basil. Serve with the rice and lime wedges.
Tip: Add 3 cups of snap peas in step 1 to create a veggie-packed meal!
